Brazilian Butt Lift in Manhattan
Enhancing the appearance of your posterior – serving patients throughout Manhattan & NYC!
Do you have excess body fat in some areas and wish it can be transferred to other parts of your body where you lack curves? At EBS Plastic Surgery, Dr. Singer can perform Brazilian butt lifts. This procedure involves transferring fat from other areas of your body to your buttocks. When you use fat from your own body to enhance your buttocks, there is less risk of an infection, and your body can look more proportionate since excess fat is being removed from other areas throughout your body.
Fat is usually removed from one of the following areas:
Once the fat is removed, it is purified and re-injected into your buttocks. Liposuction is then used to complete the contour of your buttocks. You may be an ideal candidate for a Brazilian butt lift if you want to have a fuller, firmer buttocks, if you have a small buttocks in relation to the rest of your body, or if you have loose, sagging skin around your buttocks area.
Once you undergo a Brazilian butt lift, you must refrain from putting direct pressure on your buttocks for two weeks. If you must sit, it is advised you sit on a very soft cushion. After the first two weeks, it is still recommended you only sit on soft cushions until week six of recovery. It is normal that you will feel sore and pain for a few days following the procedure, but you should wear a body garment anywhere between six to eight weeks to ensure swelling is maintained. You may return to work seven to ten days after the treatment.
Patients who decide to undergo Brazilian butt lifts are often highly satisfied with the results. It is imperative to remember, however, that for a few months following the procedure, you may experience swelling. You may not be able to recongnize the full results of your butt lift until the swelling has subsided.
